Bradenton's Class of 2010 will celebrate their White Coat Ceremony
on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10:00 am. The location for
the ceremony is the Harvest Centre, located in the
Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way in Lakewood
Ranch.
During this
traditional ceremony, each first-year osteopathic medical student is
cloaked with a white coat by the faculty. It is an
event that marks a milestone in their education to become a
physician - their entry into clinical medicine.
White Coat Ceremony, Class of 2008
The keynote speaker will be
Jarrod M. Frydman, D.O., a 1999 graduate of LECOM. Dr.
John Strosnider, President of the American Osteopathic Association,
will also be an honored guest.
