Faculty Step Up to the (Pie) Plate -On
Saturday, April 8, at the YMCA's Healthy Kids Day, seven LECOM Medical students bid up to $110 each for the opportunity to "pie" a professor at the Women's Health & Medical Society's 2nd Annual "Get Lucky for Your Greens" auction on March 16. The proceeds benefited the Second Chance/Last Opportunity organization that provides crisis prevention and intervention services in Sarasota, Florida. |
Bradenton faculty delivered the goods they sold at an auction
fundraiser. Or, is it more accurate to say their
received the goods? Dr's. Mark Best, Rebecca Bowden,
Chip Colle, Mark Coty, Jonathan King, Jonathan Leo, and Frank Liuzzi
were on the receiving end of pies delivered with a toss by medical
students.
