On Wednesday, March 15, representatives
from 25 hospitals from around the country met with first and
second year medical students at the 1st Hospital Day
held on LECOM Bradenton’s campus.
According to OMSII Lauren Burns the event
was extremely helpful as she plans her 4th
year rotations and considers her residency options. “Hospital
Day was an excellent way to make connections and learn what
various hospitals have to offer,” said Burns. “You can go
online all you want, but until you talk to someone face to face,
you don’t really get a feel for what that hospital can do for
you or what you can do for it.”
