LECOM Bradenton Welcomes Class of 2009

LECOM Bradenton's second class of medical students, the Class of 2009, arrived early on the morning of Wednesday, July 27, for the first of their three-day orientation to medical school. 

Philip Shettle, D.O., President of the American Osteopathic Association welcomed the students to the osteopathic profession and then attended a reception given by the second year students in his honor. LECOM Bradenton had the honor of being the first college of osteopathic medicine to host Dr. Shettle since his inauguration to the presidency of the AOA earlier this month.
