Osteopathic Medicine Day in the Florida Legislature
LECOM Bradenton student government leaders
Samuel Urick and Joshua Lynch spent a day in the Florida capital
with other osteopathic medical students and doctors of osteopathic
medicine on Osteopathic Medicine Day on April 6. Sam and Josh took
advantage of the opportunity to see first-hand how the legislative
process works and become better informed about current legislation
regarding those issues that will impact their future practices, such
as malpractice insurance, privacy rights with respect to patient
records and the three strikes law.
