Dean's Message
Welcome to the new LECOM Bradenton School of Pharmacy.
It is with honor and enthusiasm that I embark on this new challenge
as the Dean of a unique branch of the Lake Erie College of
Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy in Florida. I am committed
to continuing the student-centered mission of LECOM.
As one of the oldest and most respected professions,
pharmacy provides many career choices for our graduates, so they can
remain challenged and rewarded through their service to our
communities throughout their careers.
We are building a faculty team that will be enthusiastic about
delivering an innovative and collaborative curriculum. We have a
unique opportunity for the School of Pharmacy and the College of
Medicine to deliver didactic and experiential instruction in concert
with each other. This collaboration will no doubt help to develop
future practitioners prepared to meet the pharmaceutical care needs
of their communities. It will also be our goal to instill compassion
and professionalism within our students and future graduates, and
inspire them to become lifelong learners so they can keep pace with
new developments in the delivery of healthcare.
We are very confident we will attract and enroll a highly qualified
student body. I invite you to become a member of the inaugural class
of the LECOM Bradenton School of Pharmacy.
