The
Requirements
Applicants must:
•• Have earned a
bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
•• Have completed
8 semester hours (with 2 of those hours in lab) in each of the four
basic sciences (biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and
physics) while maintaining at least a 2.7 (science) GPA.
•• Have at least
a 2.5 cumulative GPA .
•• Provide most
recent MCAT scores (medical Postbac only).

Submit
official transcripts from each undergraduate and graduate school
previously attended.
••
Submit one letter of recommendation
from a member of the
science faculty at the college or university
previously attended.

Program Information
•• Tuition is
$13,000/year, regardless of state of residence.
•• Financial
aid is available to those who qualify.
•• The
academic year runs two 16-week semesters.
•• Each
semester involves approximately seven courses for a minimum of 15
credit hours.
•• Classes are
held Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to
6:00 PM.
•• Postbac
students who successfully complete the program are awarded a
certificate of completion authorized by the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Postbac students who acheive a 3.0 GPA in the program, apply to
LECOM through AACOMAS or PHARMCAS, and satisfy all other admission
requirements will be granted an interview.
