LECOM
Learning Resource Center provides in-person and on-line services to
Millcreek Community Hospital affiliates and all LECOM students, faculty,
and staff. Request assistance in person, by telephone, or via
electronic mail. Available online services include: Interlibrary
Borrowing, Mediated Database Searching (i.e. MEDLINE), General Reference
Help, and Internet Searching.

Instruction
We
provide help in the use of location tools, indexing, and abstracting
sources, general organization schemes, world Wide Web resources, and the
use of electronic and print literature.

Search Requests
We
perform literature searches for complex clinical and research problems
using on-line databases, the Internet, and print resources.
Databases available include OVID MEDLINE with a turnaround time averaging
four (4) hours.

Circulation
The
Learning Resource Center coordinates the use of materials among borrowers with an automated
circulation system. Please be aware of Learning Resource Center's policies (information and handout available at front desk).

Course
Reserves
The
Learning Resource Center houses course reserves behind the circulation desk. Course
reserves are materials set aside by professors for their classes to use in
the library only.
Photocopying
Two photocopiers
are available for use at the Erie Learning Resource Center; one
copier is available at Bradenton. All three copiers accept vendacards
that can be purchased in the Learning Resource Center. Copies are $.10
each and in 8 1/2 by 11 inch format only.
Interlibrary
Loan Requests (ILL)
We
can help you obtain materials from other libraries. Contact
