Counseling Competition
You will take this pill once a day in the morning. Jason Fox,
'07presented drug information clearly, asked the necessary and
appropriate questions, ensured that the patient understood and
expressed concern for the patient during the recent counseling
competition. The annual competition was held by LECOM's
Chapter of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA)/Association
of Student Pharmacists (ASP) on January 27th. In all, 13 Class
of 2007
students participated in the event including: Jason Blyler,
Ida Boyens, Mary Jane Daniels, Nicole Eaton, Jason Fox, Elizabeth
Gorevski, Guo Min Li, Katura Lockett, Darshna Patel, Krista Petrolla,
Kelly Perkins, Roshell Schenck, and Susan Wood. A panel
of judges evaluated each student on their professional competence
and communication skills. Fox won an all expense paid trip to
compete in the National Competition held in San Francisco, CA on
March 16-21.
